Mechanicsburg, PA (April 8, 2025) – The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride (NEMSMBR) announces 110 Honorees from 29 states for its 2025 season of long-distance bicycle rides. This year marks the 25th season of celebrating EMS Professionals who have fallen due to line of duty deaths as well as others who have died from various causes however left an impact on their local or greater EMS community. This year’s Honor Roll includes 29 honorees who will be celebrated during the National EMS Memorial Service Weekend of Honor July 18-20, 2025 in Arlington, VA.
This year’s NEMSMBR routes will travel over 1,900 miles through 15 states and the District of Columbia. Rides will start in May in Boston, MA and conclude in September at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA. Cities included this season are Boston, Charleston, Charlotte, Chicago, New York City, Newark, Reno, Roanoke, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.. Participants will be carrying dog tags with the names of these 110 Honorees who served every day, those who have become sick or injured while performing their duties, and those who have died in the line of duty. Participants will join families, friends, and fellow first responders throughout the route with scheduled memorial celebrations and a reading of the names of the 2025 Honorees.
