Leonard joined the Shreveport Fire Department in August of 2007. Serving nearly 14 years, he was assigned to Medic 5 at Fire Station No. 5 – C Shift. Leonard had a soft, spoken voice which allowed him to talk to patients in way that put them at ease. Because of this calming voice, his fellow firefighter referred to him a “Sweet Tones of Cones.”
